This piece of Art contains a variety of ancient symbols that indicate rebirth or a new beginning. Inspired by the process of life whether it’s literally birth and death, or seen as new phases and stages in life that form us and pushes us to grow, learn, let go and transform. To name a few symbols processed and assimilated in this Art piece.

the butterfly
Symbolism of the butterfly is about profound changes of the soul/ powerful transformation. The hatching from the egg is the equivalent of human birth. The caterpillar represents the stage of life; the lowly “worm” waiting for a transformation, just as we await our reward in an afterlife, or new stage in life.

The beetle
Beetles have been worn as symbolic pendants since the Paleolithic Era. Ancient Egypt with its dominant status as god icon and symbol for birth, life, death and rebirth.

Infant in a womb Stating a new life, a new beginning. It either means literally ‘birth’ in the physical world and it means birth of a new you, transformation. Cherishing your dreams and hopes with a brighter outcome

Key
The key is a universal symbol. It represents knowledge, mystery, initiation, curiosity, solutions. Locking down old gates, pathways leaving the past behind. This is sometimes necessary to make way for new things in our lives.

The tunnel
Represents the passage to a certain point, end or beginning. It gives a sense of accomplishment. It indicates journeys and passages. New portals to new beginnings and the future with hope and light at the end of the tunnel.
